Vulfpeck guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Cory Wong has announced his biggest UK tour to date, including a show at O2 Ritz on 21 Feb 2020. Hot on the heels of a sold-out Spring 2019 UK tour, the multi-talented composer and songwriter will be showcasing his forthcoming third solo album Motivational Music for The Syncopated Soul. Looking to build on the success of critically-acclaimed debut LP ‘Cory Wong and the Green Screen Band’, along with his acclaimed sophomore solo LP, 2018’s The Optimist, the Minnesota musician is also well known for his six-string skills with US funkadelic cohort Vulfpeck, helping add to the band’s credentials as modern masters of funk and soul. Dubbed the “Stratocaster Master”, Wong has been influenced by the likes of fellow Minnesotans Prince and Sonny T, regularly been praised for his outstanding musicianship, energetic stage manner and songwriting craft. Fondly dubbed “the most famous Minnesota musician you’ve probably never heard of” by Minneapolis radio station The Current, tickets to catch his energetic and engaging stage show are just £19.25.
