Throughout a career spanning 20 years, Japan’s Boris have remained one of the most challenging and exciting rock bands on the planet. They’ve produced a studio album for roughly each of those years, and have collaborated with Sunn0))), Merzbow and Ghost’s Michio Kurihara too. Back in the country to play this weekend’s The National-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties, they’re visiting our city first, for what promises to be a bone-shaking performance at – where else – Islington Mill. Support comes from Joe Volk, formerly of Gonga and Crippled Black Phoenix.
