Featuring state-of-the-art lanes, ice-free curling, batting cages, an arcade, beloved street food vendors and more, the colossal new bowling alley and games emporium King Pins is now open to the public at Trafford Palazzo.

Occupying over 25,000 sq ft across two sprawling floors, the brand new neon-lined entertainment utopia dubbed ‘the crown jewels of bowling’ invites guests to enjoy fifteen lanes amongst a high-tech yet faithfully retro decor, as well as four lanes of smaller-scale ‘duck bowling’, shuffleboard, a baseball batting cage, dry curling and a custom-built arcade which contains a variety of classic units including racing simulators, claw machines, dance mats, basketball nets and air hockey.

For fueling up and winding down, King Pins hosts two independent street food vendors and an eye-popping confectionery stall. While Northern Quarter pizza masters Ply serve Neapolitan slices fresh from the oven with a range of irresistible toppings and various flavours of wings, Leeds’ Little Bao Boy offers a selection of generously filled dumplings, with options including beef brisket and chicken thigh marinated in buttermilk, salt and pepper aubergine and oyster mushroom coated in secret KFB flour, accompanied by gyozas and loaded fries on the side. For dessert, visitors can head to King Pins’ in-house sweets kiost Royal Treats for donuts, milkshakes and an exhaustive selection of pick ‘n’ mix.

While King Pins operates as a family-friendly destination by day, every evening sees the lights dim, the music volume increase and attention turn to the breathtaking 360-degree bar on the ground floor, which serves an array of cocktails, slushies, low-and-no alcohol drinks and over twenty types of beer.

For office parties and prospective pop stars alike, King Pins offers a selection of private rooms which can be booked out for uninhibited karaoke sessions and an exclusive arcade experience, while kids’ parties for ages 7-15 can be booked between Monday and Thursday from 4-7pm and from 12-2pm on weekends.

James Travis, Brand Manager of King Pins, said: “We’re excited to open the doors and welcome people into King Pins at Trafford Palazzo. The venue has been in the works for a while, and we can’t wait to showcase everything we have on offer, from Ten Pin Bowling and arcade games, to the top-tier food vendors and bar. We don’t call it the Crown Jewels of bowling for nothing.”

Prices for ten-pin bowling start from £8 per adult and £6 per under-15, with duck bowling starting at £6 and £4 respectively. For karaoke, curling and the batting cage, prices begin at £16, while shuffleboard costs £8 per half hour.
