Never ones to do things by halves, the brains behind BrewDog have teamed up with London burger enthusiasts Honest Burgers to create ‘The BrewBurger’, made with so much beer you will need ID just to order it. Initially dreamed up as a one-off for its London outlet, head chef of Honest Burgers Tom Barton will be taking the beef and beer infusion on tour across the UK – including a stop off at Peter Street’s beer emporium for a post-work Friday beer and a burger all in one.The limited edition BrewBurger is a 150g aged beef patty with Comté cheese and bacon candied with BrewDog’s amber ale, 5AM Saint, topped with beef dripping and beer-fried onions using BrewDog’s flagship Punk IPA and a barbecue reduction made from BrewDog’s Paradox cask-aged Imperial Stout. If that wasn’t enough beer in your burger, they’ve also created an accompanying bottled beer named Bourbon Baby that will be available on the night.
