While this is a claim all too often bandied around with little substance, Oklahoma’s Broncho genuinely are one of the most underrated acts on the circuit. Ears pricked up a little when scuzzy garage-rock track It’s On was used to close an episode of Lena Dunham’s Girls, and even more so with the release of the upbeat Class Historian, below – but oddly the fuzzy guitar-driven rock still remains relatively low key. Luckily this only works in our favour, as they head to one of Manchester’s more intimate venues for what looks set to be a pretty killer show full of raw guitar riffs and visceral punk energy injected with some noisy pop. Support comes from Texas three-piece Purple and dark pop noise trio FANS.
