Buy Art Fair at Manchester Central

Manchester’s Buy Art Fair is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major event taking place near the end of this month at Manchester Central convention centre – which it will take over for a full weekend. Over 3,000 original artworks will be on display from around a hundred galleries and independent artists. You’ll find a wide variety of styles… and also prices. A major contributor to the fair is the Manchester Contemporary, an incubator for new talent, which brings together up-and-coming artists from across the UK. Their aim is to demystify contemporary art and develop its market in the North West. New to the event this year is a showcase of how Virtual and Augmented Reality can be used as a platform for artists and audiences. There will also be other events and activities, including life drawing classes for the grown-ups and drop-in workshops for the kids.
