Something a bit different is taking place in the woody depths of Manchester’s Whalley Range. Fans of The Big Chill music festival (RIP) will be delighted to know that founder, Pete Lawrence, is making a one-off appearance at the Carlton Club to talk about his new concept, Campfire Convention. He will be talking about the past, present and future of his game-changing music festival concept, his initial vision for the festival as well as offering an  insight into his new direction. Expect candid and inspirational tales in equal measure, before Alucidnaiton DJS take over. Fire-cooked snacks will be able to buy, there will be a bonfire, the chance to meet new friends and all your usual booze, at the extremely reasonable prices that the Carlton Club locally known for.
