Celebrated Finnish circus company Nuua brings a brand-new production which examines the pointless ways in which people can spend their time to Lowry.

Taking over the Salford stage on Fri 5 Sep, the surrealistic and whimsical Meanwhile delves into the modern world’s absurd priorities through minimalistic comedy, jaw-dropping juggling, object manipulation and visual theatre.

The multilayered performance explores our experiences with the passage of time and the way we use it, testing the audience’s understanding and the way in which our values might change by simply doing something we feel is necessary.

Disarming, suspenseful, entertaining, and thought-provoking, Meanwhile seeks to create a world that mirrors today’s culture, doing so in riveting and dramatic fashion that promises to both engross spectators, while simultaneously sparking inward questions about how we go about our day-to-day lives.
