Bringing a little soul to the Bridgewater Hall this Christmas will be Manchester Inspirational Voices. Holders of BBC1’s Gospel Choir of the Year, this community singing group has members from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds. They have performed throughout the North West, and also in Europe and America. A special guest on the night will be Michelle John, a finalist in this year’s The Voice. She has recorded and toured with the likes of George Michael and Whitney Houston, and as a vocal coach, has helped the career of many a pop starlet. A possibly more surprising guest is Robert ‘Judge’ Rinder. Best known for his courtroom reality show, he proved he has a sense of rhythm when he took part in Strictly Come Dancing. Now is your chance to see whether he can sing as well. The choir will be accompanied by the RNCM Session Orchestra as well as its own house band.
