Poor neglected Sale rarely gets the attention it deserves sitting, as it does, just on the unfashionable side of the M60. But as an area, it’s gifted with a picturesque beauty, which provides the setting for the excellent Waterside Arts Centre. Housing a Georgian Theatre, as well as modern art and performance spaces, they’ve been trading for the past ten years. In an effort to continue to support the arts in South Manchester, they’re opening up a pop-up gallery shop selling everything from painting to prints, from furniture to glassware, from books to fashion and jewellery. The shop will be open straight through ‘til December, but there are some special sessions:

Festive Bunting Necklaces with Julia Roy Williams of Wonderhaus.
Join festive acrylic shapes onto a chain to make a unique piece of jewellery.

Stitch your own Mistletoe with Bella Leonard.
Embroider your own wooden, laser cut mistletoe with a variety of threads.
All materials included.

Make your own Christmas Cards with Jenny Waterson
Using a variety of paper, card, beads and sequins make your own festive card for someone special.
