How many rappers can lay a claim to inventing snowboarding, veracity be dammed? Before gangsta rap, there was Schoolly D. Coming to underground prominence with his third single (and second on his own label), the heavily bootlegged PSK (Parkside Killers), Schoolly pioneered the way for the likes of Ice-T. He continued to have a varied career, including contributing to films by Abel Ferrera (including Bad Lieutenant) and Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Code Money has been DJing with him since the beginning. Another More Bounce legendary joint, and they’ve just announced the return of Wu Tang’s GZA in April too.
