A cheaper alternative for updating your wardrobe for the festive season, MMU’s pop-up clothes and books exchange returns just in time for the Christmas parties. Not just for students, the event offers vintage threads, personalised creations and interesting recycling ideas for anyone wanting to offload unwanted items. This time around, you can also exchange your good for tokens prior to the event, with drop boxes available in MMU’s Business School at All Saints from midday until 2pm on Thursday 28 November, Friday 29 November and Mon 2 December. And promoting a zero waste initiative, any items leftover at the end of the event will be given to the British Heart Foundation – so your clothes and books will get a new lease of life either way.
