Sir Coxsone is to revive his role as tastemaker for the dub and reggae genres by manning the decks at a nightlong journey through soundsystem culture at Band on the Wall. Since moving to London in 1962, the Jamaican record producer has made it his life’s work to share the good vibes and musical styles of his birth country, which now span generations of listeners and groovers. He’ll divide the decks time with a pair of hit pickers whose musical limelight began in the 70s and 80s, Channel One and Aba Shanti.
