Legendary Chicago house DJ Derrick Carter will make a special appearance for Electric Chair in August. The Manchester clubbing collective continue their resurgence with a Come As You Are weekender in the basement of The Refuge. With Carter as headliner, organisers promise bumpty-bumpty disco-licked groovers from one of the world’s most influential DJs. Supporting him will be Refuge resident and voice of Reform Radio DJ Paulette. Full line-up for the weekender is yet to be announced, but expect music from Homoelectric along with pop-up food stalls and cocktails galore.
