Pioneering electronic boss Setaoc Mass is set for a truly Mancunian club night this Saturday (9 Nov) brought to you by One Night: MCR Techno Sessions. He heads up the billing alongside the likes of local techno don Yant, who is known for his forward thinking productions that have been played at venues such as Berghain, Fabric and The Warehouse Project. Manchester based Renwick and One Night MCR co-founder Carlos Sousa are also set to soundtrack the night at Joshua brooks. Expect a night of “hypnotic, mechanical and dizzyingly dark” sounds. The night will run from 10pm-4am in the basement of Joshua Brooks, and tickets can be bought ahead of the event from the link below.
The event also marks the release of a recent sub-series from the Manchester born, now Berlin-based label, founded by Setoac Mass – SK_eleven. With the aim to act as an outlet for upcoming producers, the series’ first installment, Night Shift [SK11XX01], a four-tracker from Yant, arrived on Fri 1 Nov. Night Shift has already been played across Europe namely by Rhodad during ADE and Marcel Dettmann last weekend at Berghain – The EP will be available both online and in-store at all usual formats and in all usual places.
