Earlier this year, the people who do all the important stuff (booking, invoicing, drinking tea, etc.) at Islington Mill were invited over to Ibiza by a few souls who wanted to gain an insight into the creative hub’s expertise, and potentially get them to throw a clubnight, too. The latter part of the plan didn’t come to fruition, but given the philosophy at the Mill is to have a party at any possible opportunity, they’re using that failure as an excuse to – yep – throw a party. Club Tragicana sees the vibes of the legendary clubbing isle come to the formerly derelict factory, with the promise of some island natives coming over to collaborate with longtime mill favourites Cheryl, Gnod, Video Jam and Volkov Commanders. There will be performances and installations, as well as sun, sand and sangria to try and make you feel as though you’re actually getting your Beefa on.
