Fri 19 Feb | Big Narstie, DJ Q & Amy Becker @ Sankeys
It’s looking like a super fun one ahead at the Ancoats-based venue this Friday, with everyone’s favourite Eastenders reviewer Big Narstie headlining alongside bassline king DJ Q and Radar Radio’s Amy Becker, whose mix for Fact at the end of last year is a must-listen. If that wasn’t enough, jazz-grime maestro Swindle will also be joining proceedings. Tickets are gone already, but there are still booths available if you want to ball out. Failing that, just keep an eye out for the inevitable sales on the Facebook page.

Fri 19 Feb | Andy Stott, Randomer & Source Direct @ Hidden
Warehouse vibes at Hidden, as Modern Love’s techno hero Andy Stott, LIES’ own Randomer and monsters of the cinematic jungle/proto-d&b scene Source Direct are set to put the more-than-adequate soundsystem at Hidden through its paces for Manchester mainstays Project 13. Highly recommended if you like things dark and moody.

Sat 20 Feb | Swing Ting @ Soup Kitchen
It’s been a long time in the making, but we finally have Mixpak’s Jubilee joining us from NYC and we’re super excited. Also home to Murlo, Popcaan and Dre Skull, Mixpak is one of the most crucial and relevant labels operating worldwide now, and Jubilee plays no small part in that. We also have Swing Ting favourite Brackles joining us, which is never not a treat. Super cheap as always, this is one of our finest lineups to date – it’s a guaranteed party.
