Genuine reggae legends performing in Manchester this Friday. Luciano has been a key figure in the roots scene for 20+ years now, working with the likes of Freddie McGregor and Xterminator Records. He’s joined on the night by another roots icon, I-Wayne, whose crossover hit Can’t Satisfy Her brought him worldwide acclaim. They are supported by the mighty Classique Sound, who have been rocking dances in Manchester and beyond for years now.

This month, we’re helping Elijah and Skilliam aka Butterz celebrate the launch of their Fabriclive mix CD. With the series reading like a who’s who of DJs over the years, the CD should become a key document for grime in 2014 and their label continues to go from strength to strength. We’ve one or two surprises lined up for the night and as usual, Samrai, Joey B, Fox and myself will be providing the vibes from early.
