Fri 23 May | HomoElectric ft Riton (pictured)| Antwerp Mansion
There’s a return for an old favourite at HomoElectric this month as Riton, of Ed Banger/Get Physical fame, headlines the Mansion nearly 10 years after his first appearance for HomoElectric, back in the Legends era. Crazy P vocalist Danielle Moore, an acclaimed DJ herself, also features, and with one of the best/most welcoming crowds in Manchester clubbing, you won’t do much better anywhere this Friday.

Sat 24 May | A Made Up Sound | Soup Kitchen
As one of the first (and best) to merge techno and dubstep, Dave Huismanns aka A Made Up Sound aka 2562 managed to maintain a level of sexiness that many of his contemporaries failed to match. His output can be pumping and bass-heavy, but it’s always danceable and his reputation as a DJ matches his production output. Soup, with arguably the best soundsystem in the city now, is the perfect venue and it’s always good to see an artist operating on Huismanns’ level in one of the smaller venues in town.

Sun 25 May | Hoya:Hoya | The Roadhouse | £6
Hoya present a one-off residents Sunday special for their May edition. Their residents lineup is unmatched by pretty much any club in the country and it’s nights like these where they really get the time to shine. A Jon K b2b Illum Sphere set is headline-worthy anywhere and with Chunky & Jonny Dub also flexing on the 1s and 2s, there’s no way you’ll be pining for an out-of-town act.
