Fri 16 Jan | Extra Love | Band On The Wall
One of Manchester’s best live reggae acts takes to the stage at BOTW this Friday. Bringing elements of dub and bass-heavy dancefloor vibes, Extra Love have a well-earned reputation for keeping the revellers moving until late. Support comes from another local act, Shunya, and longstanding fixture of the Manchester reggae scene Sir Robin Longshot.

Fri 16 Jan | Mumdance (pictured) | Antwerp Mansion
Hit & Run and Project 13 combine forces to bring one of the most exciting names in UK music right now – Rinse FM’s Mumdance. Collaborations with the likes of Pinch, Spyro and his effort with Novelist – ‘Take Time’ , especially – have elevated Mumdance to a new level, and he brings with him a well-earned reputation as a DJ on top. Supported by Acre and Metrodome, this one looks like a guaranteed sell-out. Early birds have already gone, so act quickly on the remaining £7 tickets available.

Sat 17 Jan | Swing Ting | Soup Kitchen
Our first Swing Ting of the year features one of our favourite DJs (and regular on the ST dancefloor) Bacchanal Ronin of Oh Bacchanal! fame. With his finger on the pulse of all things carnival, expect plenty of heat to fight the winter cold – especially with Trinidad Carnival just round the corner. It’s free entry before midnight and just £5 thereafter. With residents Samrai, Joey B & Fox on board too, it’s looking like a strong start to the year for us.
Tickets: Free before midnight, £5 OTD after.
