Thu 15 Oct – What Hannah Wants @ The Warehouse Project
Huge lineup of bass-heavy dance music for you this Thursday evening. Hannah Wants has put together a group of some of the most exciting DJs operating in the UK right now. There are way too many to list here, but the likes of Tom Shorterz, Oneman and Amy Becker are going to be worth the price of entry alone – if you can get hold of a ticket. It is a sell out, but as always, look in the right places and you should find one or two for sale.

Fri 16 Oct – Scratcha DVA b2b Ikonika @ Hidden
Another big one at Manchester’s latest, greatest club space Hidden, with two of Hyperdub’s finest. Scratcha and Ikonika have been kicking around long enough to be described as veterans by today’s standards – and they’re both well-versed in the art of keeping it weird while keeping the dancefloor happy. Tickets are still available for £3 – a massive bargain for Friday night raving.

Fri 16 Oct – Girl Unit @ 1 Primrose Street (pictured)
Temple presents one of Night Slugs’ best, as Girl Unit takes over the decks at 1 Primrose Street up in Ancoats. Expect high-energy mutations of ballroom, UK funky and Baltimore – ably supported by High Bank’s Croww, one of Manchester’s brightest young talents. If you act quickly, you can grab tickets for £3 before they make the leap up to £7.

Sat 17 Oct – Swing Ting @ Soup Kitchen
For this month’s Swing Ting, we’ve got the owner of the most exciting label to come out of Ireland in who knows how long: Glacial Sound. Drawing influence from all over the place and repurposing with his unique aesthetic, Glacial has become one of the most in-demand tastemakers from this generation. Along with the best residents in the city (I am biased), this’ll be the place to be in Manchester, bringing huge value for your Saturday night.
