Grant Busé | The King’s Arms | Mon 1 Jul | 9pm | £10/8
The Greater Manchester Fringe kicks off in earnest today (check out our must see guide here) and with it comes an exuberant show from ex-Neighbours actor and current comedian Grant Busé. Touche Busé sees the antipodean musical comic prove why he has been likened to Tim Minchin for his impressive ditties.

Sarah Kendall & Tony Law | The Bread Shed | Tue 2 Jul | 7.30pm | £5/3
XS Malarkey’s impeccably strong Edinburgh Fringe preview line up continues with two of the biggest international acts in comedy. Sarah Kendall returns to the stand up stage after conquering the airwaves with her award-winning BBC Radio 4 show ‘Australian Trilogy’ and Tony Law’s show last year was a very welcome return to top form so it’ll be exciting to see what they both do next.

Paul Foot | Gorilla | Sat 6 Jul | 7pm | £12
Surreal genius Paul Foot brings a special preview of new show ‘Baby Strikes Back!’ to Gorilla this Saturday night to bring a dose of weird brilliance to your weekend. In this new show Foot is apparently a ‘disqualified swan psychologist’ so more of the same oddness it appears. If you’ve seen him before you’ll probably already have tickets, if you haven’t, and are a fan of alternative comics, you should take a chance. You shan’t regret it.
