Jamali Maddix first grabbed widespread attention with his Vice TV show Hate Thy Neighbour, particularly when he remained impeccably calm in the face of white supremacists across America.

He has since been one of the most anarchic contestants on Taskmaster, investigated the future of the online world in Channel 4’s Adventures in Futureland, appeared on the likes of 8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at The Apollo and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, as well as touring around the world.

After all that, he still loves playing the more intimate rooms; the proper gigs. So he’s heading to Manchester on Mon 18 Apr for a special one-off ‘Work-In-Progress’ show at Chapeltown Picture House, doing what he does best—diguring out the world with charm, wit and guile. One of the best to do it, this will sell out so make sure you get your tickets early.
