Catherine Bohart and Sarah Kendall | The Bread Shed | Tue 16 Jul | 7.30pm | £5/3
A few weeks ago we sang the praises of Sarah Kendall only for her to switch out her preview at XS Malarkey with Sean Morley. We hope you still went, because Sean is another of our favourites but we really hope you go this week because we’re assured she’s definitely there. Also previewing new work is one of the future stars of standup in Catherine Bohart (pictured) who will be performing her hotly anticipated second hour long show.

Maisie Adam | The Kings Arms | Wed 17 Jul | 9.15pm | £7
Another exciting comedy prospect looking to build on a strong start is Maisie Adam who gained a Best Newcomer nomination for her debut last year at the Fringe. In Hang-Fire she recounts the tale of googling herself as a child and the criminal repercussions that went with that. Quick witted and a great performer, it’s best to get in to see Maisie now while she’s still doing smaller venues like this.

Hayley Ellis and Dr Lara Love | Three Minute Theatre | Thu 18 Jul | 7.30pm | £5
Not just the chance to see two of the best young comics and their respective previews but also this may be one of the last chances to head down to the somewhat iconic surrounds of Three Minute Theatre. Hayley Ellis has long been a fixture at the Affleck’s Palace based playhouse, gaining room to try more new things like so many young performers in the city.
