This time it’s an Edinburgh Fringe double header with Isma Almas looking into transracial adoption for ‘About a Buoy’ and Rachel Fairburn realising her destiny as ‘The People’s Princess’. Two shows of this quality for a fiver? You won’t find that at the Fringe.

Lou Sanders | Frog and Bucket | Sun 19 May | 8pm | £12
If you feel like doing a triple bill of a Sunday then hot foot it to Lou Sanders at the Frog for her latest (and best) show ‘Shame Pig’. Sanders has always been naturally, deliriously funny but in this latest show about owning shame she has channelled her wild energy into a consummate stand-up show that still has that inimitable Sanders edge. A must-see.
