Paul Currie | Tue 8 May | The Bread Shed | 7.30pm | £5/3
A favourite of the Edinburgh Fringe and of one Stewart Lee, Paul Currie is an indescribable joy to watch live and uses all the tricks in his considerable arsenal to get big laughs (check out the video below for one of the best silent routines you’ll see). A former street performer, the Northern Irishman has built himself a legion of loyal fans and that this is his first appearance at XS Malarkey comes as quite the shock. Go see him, as there’s no telling when he’ll be back in the city again.

The 2018 Comedy Marathon | Sun 13 May | Tribeca | 12.30pm | £5
After the great success of last year’s ‘The Great Mirth Run’, Lukas Kirkby has amassed another legion of comedians for ‘The 2018 Comedy Marathon’ in a bid to raise money for a good cause. More than 70 stand ups, characters and sketch acts will be taking to the stage at Tribeca throughout the day to raise money for ‘Saying Goodbye’,  a very important charity that helps families who have lost babies during pregnancy, at birth or during infancy and is matronised by comedian Lou Conran. A fiver gets you a wristband and you can come and go as you please throughout the day, so grab yours and see some great comedy whilst raising money for a good cause.
