A Laugh In Stockport | Seven Miles Out | Thu 5 Apr | 7.45pm | £8
A Laugh In Stockport is having one last hurrah at Seven Miles Out as they bid farewell to their current venue with a blast of a final show. Maverick renegade Danny Sutcliffe takes the reigns and introduces a stonking line up to make sure they go out with a bang including circuit hero Dave Williams and rising stars David Stanier and Harry Stachini. More than worth the train ride seven miles out of town and if anything a reminder that if we don’t support our lovely, local comedy nights they’ll start dropping like flies.

Gary Delaney | Chorlton Irish Club | Fri 6 Apr | 7.45pm | £12/10
A little closer to home but still more than worth the journey is this gem of a comedy night at Chorlton Irish Club which features Mock the Week staple and one line legend Gary Delaney. Justin Moorehouse hosts for a line up that will take some topping nationwide as he introduces not just Delaney, but Markus Birdman and the recently crowned Leicester Comedy Festival Comedian of the Year Jack Gleadow.

The Magnificent Seven | Gorilla | Sat 7 Apr | 7.30pm | £7
After two sell out ‘Magnificent Seven’ shows this year so far, Group Therapy have decided that you can never too much of a good thing and so are presenting another raft of great, new comedy talent this Saturday. Headlining is the erudite Ahir Shah who’s sharp, intellectual brand of stand-up features a blend of philosophical inquiry, political vigour, and sweet gags, whilst MC for the evening Jack Barry has just finished a run at the Soho Theatre and supported James Acaster on his recent tour. Knowing Group Therapy the other five up and comers are sure to be as masterful as these two and more than worth the on-brand price of £7.
