Nick Helm | The Dancehouse | Fri 10 Nov | 8pm | £12
The star of BBC3’s Uncle brings his first national tour to Manchester this month with a call to arms for anyone who feels hard done by and short-changed by this ugly new world. Rounding it down to absolutely everyone then. Helm’s shouty demeanour and love of a power ballad often casts him as a more laddish comedian but there is a nuance and great wit here in between the showiness. Well worth checking out.
