Comedy night Sham Bodie returns after more than a year away from the Manchester scene and judging by the video below it might have something to do with a paternity test. Taking over the new venue space at Fairfield Social Club near Piccadilly, host Ben Tonge will be welcoming a host of the city’s finest comedic talent and also giving away some free hot dogs at the interval. This installment of Sham Bodie sees Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Chris Washington, All Killa No Filla’s Rachel Fairburn, sketch duo The Delightful Sausage, plus character comics Jayne Edwards and Jim John Harkness all take to the stage in the old railway arches that once housed GRUB. A diverse, mad cap night with free hot dogs. What’s not to like.
