One of Manchester Wire’s favourite comic book artists, John Allison, is appearing at a book signing at comic emporium Travelling Man in the Northern Quarter. His online, long-form publications includes Bad Machinery and Scary Go Round, while books in print include the Giant Days series and Murder She Writes. You can pick up his latest volume Bad Machinery: The Case of the Good Boy and have a chat with the man himself about the life of a professional comic book artist. Seeing as this is John’s first ever book signing in a shop in the UK, it’s a bit of an occasion for his army of fans too.
