Arriving just a couple of days before Valentine’s, Manchester variety show Sham Bodie has lined up a romantic evening for you and yours at Kraak. As per usual, Sham has organised the best in Manchester’s comedy and music, with Canadian-in-exile Allyson June Smith and character comic Jana Kennedy providing the laughs, and folksy singer songwriter Chris Tavener providing the tunes. With a hotdog break in the middle (is there a more romantic food?), guests can enjoy the experience of seeing regular collaborators play Sham Bodie’s trademark newly wed game. The event is expertly held together by the abstract musings of Ben Tonge. Surely, if you’re not in love when you arrive, you’ll have a crush on at least one of the Sham Bodie team by the end.
