Comics (& more) at MancsterCon: Sequential Art Festival at Salford University

This August sees Mancster Con, a festival of sequential art, returns for its third year. Taking place at Salford Uni’s MediaCity Campus, the event celebrates the comic book, illustration, cosplay, and video game scenes of the North West. You’ll find dozens of stalls selling comics, magazines, jewellery and other merchandise. Exhibitors and special guests include the graphic artists Asia Alfasi, Adam Cadwell, and Lydia Wysocki. There will also be panel talks, and even a workshop teaching you how to make your own costume armour. Dressing up as your favourite characters is encouraged, and you may even wish to enter the Cosplay Catwalk competition. An after party will take place at the appropriately geek-friendly venue of Fab Café on Portland Street.
