Back from a three year ‘sabbatical’ after motherhood beckoned, Russian-born New Yorker Regina Spektor is touring her magical new album of all new compositions, Remember Us to Life, which features a wide range of backing from processed pianos to a full orchestra. It caps a random recent schedule that has seen her working with breakout hip-hop star Chance the Rapper, contributing to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s new project The Hamilton Mixtape and covering While My Guitar Gently Weeps for the animated film Kubo and the Two Strings. She even found time in a Rolling Stone interview to suggest Donald Trump be treated like Voldemart – He Who Shall Not Be Named. We gather she’s not a fan.
