Boasting a selection box of the city’s finest creatives, the Odd Bod art markets could wrap up all your Xmas shopping in one weekend at Chorlton’s Beagle and Northern Quarter’s Common. By providing a platform for local artists of all imaginable creative zests, from zine writers to ceramicists, the event presents a chance to pick out a prezzie you won’t find elsewhere, with plenty of ideas for that awkward cousin who has everything and all your arty pals. You’ll be spoiled for choice with print fair favourites like DR ME, David Bailey, Aliyah Hussain and Paul Hallows displaying their latest designs. There’s textiles and embroidary by Hannah Marshall and jewelry by Ali Gunn, while Caroline Dowsett, Stina Puotinen and Kim Thompson are among the makers and shakers also booked in. The organisers of the Colouring Club have their infamous colouring tables for you to unleash your own festive felt tips, while DJs are on hand to adorn your eardrums.
