The Great Northern Warehouse is continuing to help hospitality venues ease out of lockdown by welcoming Pan-Asian eatery Tampopo to their airy outdoor kitchen this weekend. From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September, visitors to the Community Kitchen will be able to enjoy a range of fresh Eastern dishes in a safe and socially distanced environment, complete with drinks from event sponsors Estrella Damm and Didsbury Gin.
Peruse their menu and you’ll find a selection of delicious options including crispy chicken wings with a sweet soy and chilli glaze, served with sticky rice and salad (£6), Thai red curry with chicken, ginger and garlic (£7) and a traditional Katsu curry with either chicken or vegan-friendly sweet potato (£7). Visitors will also be able to tuck into corn fritters with sweet and sour peanut dip (£4) and a Singaporean curry featuring a mixture of vegetables in a creamy, coconut sauce (£7).
Supported by United We Stream, the Great Northern’s Community Kitchen is designed to help restaurants and hospitality spaces continue to thrive as lockdown restrictions ease. In addition to food from Tampopo, customers can also enjoy a range of beers (£5), wines (from £4.50) and canned gin and tonics from Didsbury Gin in a variety of flavours including strawberry lemon, blood orange and raspberry and elderflower (£6).
