Thai noodle bar Siam Smiles is the latest Manchester restaurant to take over the Great Northern’s pop-up Community Kitchen. Between Thursday 24 and Sunday 27 September, food fans will be able to enjoy a wide array of starters, soups and noodles, rices, salads and desserts, all of which can be enjoyed in a safe and socially distanced environment.

The Great Northern’s popular city centre dining space is presented in partnership with United We Stream and aims to help hospitality businesses ease out of lockdown by providing meals in an outdoor setting. Among the meals feature on Siam Smiles take-away menu are delicious noodle broth dishes like Kuitiew Moo Dang, which features roasted pork and vegetables (£10), Kuitew Yen Ta Fo with mixed seafood, tofu and vegetables (£10) and fan favourites like Pad Thai, with tofu or king prawns (£10). Aromatic red and green curries with tofu, chicken or prawns are also available (£10), alongside an array of salads (from £8) and authentic Thai desserts like Koaw Niew Mamaung AKA ripe mango with sticky rice and coconut ice cream (£7.50) and Kuay Thod banana fritters (£6.95).

As with previous weeks, fellow sponsors Estrella Damm and Didsbury Gin will be on drinks duty, serving up ice cold pints (£5) and an array of flavoured gin and tonics in cans (£6). To find out more and explore Siam Smiles’ full menu, visit the Great Northern Warehouse website.
