Those partaking in Dry January throughout early 2020 might want to look away – because the much anticipated Ancoats outpost from the Hanging Ditch team has finally opened its doors. Blossom Street Social located on, well, Blossom Street, can be found housed in a brand new unite opposite the recent Michelin star-winning Mana and the alt chippy hotspot Hip Hop Chip Shop. The venue quietly pushed its doors open just before Christmas, serving up the same high quality wine and drinks as one can expect at the Ditch’s Cathedral Gardens venue. As well as a range of craft beer, the bar will also be offering small plates using local suppliers such as Trove. The wine bar is the latest in a growing selection of food and drink offerings located in and around Cutting Room Square in central Ancoats, joining the likes of Rudy’s Pizza, Seven Brothers taproom, tapas bars Elnecot and Canto to name just a few.
