Courteeners have announced a massive one-off show at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park next summer.
Following multiple British festival headlines and sold-out arena shows, the band will play their own homecoming show in South Manchester on Sat 29 Aug.
An impressive support bill for the all-day show will include The Vaccines (performing their debut album What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? in full), The Coral, Getdown Services and Girl In The Year Above.
Courteeners join The Cure and Lewis Capaldi in headlining Live From Wythenshawe Park next summer. Since the park was first transformed into a live music venue in 2023, when Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds headlined, the likes of Blossoms, New Order, Fontaines DC and Sam Fender have all performed.
Tickets for the show go on sale Fri 24 Oct at 10am. £1 from every ticket sold for this gig goes directly to the Music Venue Trust, the UK charity protecting and improving grassroots music venues. This contribution helps keep local venues open, supports new artists on tour, and invests in the future of live music.
