Live venue and gallery 2022NQ is hosting a week of free creative workshops and fairs. Called Ün-Establishment, the series is sponsored by Kopparberg, a cider brand whose grey, bouncy ‘Kube’ stage repelled punters at festivals over the summer. These workshops are working out better, with events like an exclusive Kubb class (also known as Viking chess) on Sunday (14 Oct, 2pm), Saturday’s record, jewellery and vintage fair (13 Oct, noon-6pm) and Illum Sphere’s workshop for producers (Mon 15 Oct, 1pm) close to fully booked. Arty thrills include Eskimo Creative’s Iron Designer (a take on Iron Chef) in which designers battle it out live on Photoshop (Sat 13 Oct, 7pm) and a screening of the LCD Soundsystem documentary Shut Up and Play the Hits, (Sun 14 Oct, 6pm, see our preview). To really get your hands dirty, head down on Tuesday (16 Oct, 1pm) to take part in illustrator Savwo’s screen-printing workshop, with the chance to make your own t-shirt for free (pictured).
