Look out for the return of Czech destruction unit, Lightning Glove. Last summer saw their live UK debut and people are still reeling from the damage. A sonic onslaught of warped electronics and bitter industrial rhythms, Lightning Gloves desolate soundscapes are the springboard foundation for a whirling dervish of barked vocals, blistering bass and fit inducing visuals delivered with an unshakeable call to arms gravitas and purposeful self-annihilation. With a released scheduled soon on acclaimed vinyl imprint OnO-Tesla, rest assured that the efforts to obliterate those in their wake has been now been redoubled and perfected in a host of crushing new sonic experiments. Fitting that the rest of the Monday’s line up shows no let up either, casting London’s Apostille (pictured) as main support. The solo guise of Michael Kasparis, this one man act makes the sound of ten in a maximised vision of the dancefloor’s darkest side, jackhammering stacked percussion over radiant, wobbling synthesizers that melt and entwine with the serenely echoed flight of his vocals. Audience participation is non-negotiable, but that won’t be any problem when you hear Kasparis glowing and shuddering compositions.
