David Lynch fans are in for a real treat this Halloween as Manchester Camerata give the soundtrack to the filmmaker and artist’s enduring cult TV show Twin Peaks the orchestral treatment during a special event at Yes. Due to take place on Halloween night, the show promises to celebrate all things Dale Cooper by transforming the venue’s picturesque pink room into Twin Peaks’ creepy and hypnotic Black Lodge for one night only to welcome an eleven-piece ensemble ready to perform the show’s evocative score, originally devised by American composer Angelo Badalamenti. Fancy dress and the odd Log Lady log are welcome -and even encouraged – while the Pink Room bar will be serving up a selection of cherry pie cocktails that are guaranteed to be damn fine drinkin’. Advance tickets are on sale now via Skiddle priced at just £19.50 – with students getting a sweet Halloween discount and gaining entry for just £16.20. Orchestra? Twin Peaks? Live Music? What more could you possibly need this Halloween?
