Find your vibe with three days of professional contemporary dance in outdoor spaces across Greater Manchester. Now in its fourth year, Urban Moves festival brings together more than 20 dance companies from the UK as well as Spain, France, Italy, Belgium and Korea. As part of the extravaganza, French company Massala presents work inspired by the Paris riots of 2005. Incorporating a car into the act, the big idea is to explore our relationship with motorised transport. Korea’s Park Soon-ho’s Balance and Imbalance, meanwhile, mixes drumming with physicality, while one to watch is young local company Stride.
