Jazz bassist and composer Daniel Casimir plays tracks from his 2017 debut album, Escapee, at Manchester’s Band on the Wall in February. The LP places on record the fruits of his prodigious dexterity on the stand-up bass as well as harnessing the considerable talents of his noted peers making waves in the genre, including vocalist Tess Hirst. It’s a chance to catch the 2016 Young Jazz Musician of the Year in full flight. Manchester jazz collective Glowrogues are on hand to set the scene in support.
