An independent record label established in Seattle, Light In The Attic Records specialises in reissues. It’s due to host its first ever official event outside of North America later this month – and Todmorden’s very own architecturally grand Unitarian Church is there to lend a hand. Located minutes from Todmorden station, Michael Chapman and Julie Byrne will be your entertainment for the first part of the night; Chapman with his strung out-melodic-hypnotic instrumentals and Byrne providing enchanting psych folk. Label founder Matt Sullivan is set to spin some classic cuts and when the live music finishes at 10pm, the after-party will continue onto Three Wise Monkeys where local DJs such as White Rabbit, aA and Duende will see us through the night (but the last train back to Manchester is 10:34pm if you’re missing home too much, which takes around half an hour).
