Brimming with wildly inventive flair, macabre wit and breathtaking physicality, Rambert’s captivating collaborative production Death Trap brings a mesmerising meditation on mortality to The Lowry next week, following the runaway success of their acclaimed Peaky Blinders tour last year.

Running from Thu 18 – Sat 20 Apr, the thrilling meta dance comedy from Rambert and Lost Dog’s Ben Duke explores the tempest of life and death across two blistering pieces.

In Duke’s Cerberus, dance embodies the timeless, turbulent relationship between life and death, with performers taking the stage in funeral couture to deliver a poignant choreographical reflection on the myths, narratives and connections we create in the face of our own impermanence.

Backed by a live on-stage band, Goat takes inspiration from the music and transcendent spirit of Nina Simone, with movements set to a selection of her iconic songs including Feelings, Feeling Good and Ain’t Got No/I Got, Life.
