Manchester’s grilled sandwich maestros Northern Soul Grilled Cheese have revealed plans to roll out a home delivery service to keep everyone’s cheese-needs met during this difficult and uncertain time. The team, who specialise in the gooey, more-ish grilled cheese sandwiches that have swiftly became a staple of the Northern Quarter’s fast food scene, revealed on Instagram that they plan to implement a home delivery option from Thursday 19 March, available to everyone in the vicinity of the city centre and Ancoats. The news comes hot off the heels of Welsh cafe Siop Shop announcing that they will be offering a direct-to-your-door doughnut service, as many local independent businesses are forced to adapt in order to combat the COVID-19 outbreak and mass social isolation.
