Electronic production whizz Denis Jones has announced the news that his new album, 3333, will be launched at Manchester’s Band on the Wall. Local favourite Jones has earned fans across Europe with his deft use of looping pedals, initially building up to the bluesy numbers of 2007 debut record, Humdrum Virtue, before evolving into abstract electronica through live improvisation. Having in the past collaborated with experimental musicians like drummer David Schlechtriemen, Jones has explored the breadth of sonic landscapes, including learning the drums himself for his latest project. Since his last solo LP, Red + Yellow =, Jones has also contributed to Mr Scruff’s 2014 album Friendly Bacteria, including on its lead single, ‘Render Me’. Jones’ studio space cohort Graham Massey supports on the night.
