Dippy the Diplodocus will be leaving his home at The Natural History Museum in London and hitting the road for his very first UK tour. This giant and intricate plaster cast of an authentic diplodocus skeleton will be visiting eight locations, with a stop in Rochdale planned between Monday 10 February and Sunday 28 June 2020 at the award-winning Number One Riverside on Smith Street. The tour aims to bring about inspiration to the next generation of scientists by increasing accessibility to nationally important exhibits like Dippy. Entrance to the exhibition is free and also includes a selection of activities for all the family to enjoy during Dippy’s visit to Rochdale.
