Billed as one of the UK’s most ambitious art fairs, Manchester Art Fair 2022 takes over Manchester Central from Fri 4 Nov – Sun 6 Nov with a ‘friendly, unpretentious and uniquely Northern art-buying experience’ which showcases modern and contemporary paintings, sculptures, photography and editioned prints from acclaimed British and international galleries.
Aiming to make viewing and buying high-quality art both more accessible and more enjoyable, the fair features an eclectic range of artwork from hundreds of galleries and creators, from the rugged sensuality of Paul Dunkerley’s Tantric sculpture to Ben Baker’s mechanical sail cloth wonder, Lobster (Automata). Alongside the main exhibition, The Manchester Contemporary takes place as a’ collegiate fair’ for young galleries, artist-led spaces, charities and partner institutions to explore and cultivate their art in an inclusive, critically engaged environment.
All tickets for the Manchester Art Fair 2022 include entry to both the fair and The Manchester Contemporary, while under-16s can visit for free.
