Book tickets: Hip hop duo Dr Syntax & Pete Cannon at Band on the Wall

UK hip hop combo Dr Syntax and Pete Cannon are returning to Manchester to sync their sonics at Band on the Wall. Rapping on topics from Didsbury privileges (‘Middle Class Problems’) to questionable feedback (‘Pearls of Wisdom’), Syntax’s deadpan witty flows live up to his self-awarded title by guiding verbal directions through Cannon’s thickly laid beats. The show is set to introduce a fresh batch of material in the shape of their third full-length record, Let’s Talk, released this February. Syntax’s slick Mouse Outfit colleague, Sparkz, is on hand to warm up the crowd in support.
